AWARENESS and TRAINING PROGRAMME

In the near future we plan to start an equine welfare training programme. Such a programme will involve training the general public in all aspects of equine husbandry including looking after and riding a horse, ailment recognition and the costs involved in caring for a horse. 

This will enable us to educate those who have contact with equines making them aware of their responsibilities and the costs involved. Hopefully this will reduce the incidents of neglect and abuse. Prevention is obviously preferable although we hope Bushy Wood and other sanctuaries will remain as a "cure".
